If your PageSpeed Insights score remains low after connecting to NitroPack, you probably tested a page before your site could serve the newly optimized content.

If you repeat the test after a few minutes, you should see a higher score for the optimized page.

Repeating the test didn't help. Now what?

If PageSpeed showed the second test results in less than 1 second, then it has served you cached results. Make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before performing the second test.

“I waited more than 5 minutes before repeating the test, but PageSpeed Insights still shows poor results.”

There are a few things that could be checked to ensure that NitroPack is working correctly and pages are being optimized:

  1. Check if the page you are testing has been optimized.

  2. Check if there are any errors.
    Sometimes, optimizations may fail due to multiple reasons.

  3. Check what optimization mode your site is using.
    More often than not, changes to our default configuration will be the culprit here. We recommend using either our Strong or Ludicrous mode, the latter being the most powerful!

  4. Make sure that you haven’t exceeded your monthly pageviews or CDN bandwidth.
