Updated over a week ago

To ensure NitroPack’s optimization was served when measuring your website’s performance in testing tools such as PageSpeed Insights (PSI) or GTMetrix, please follow the steps below.

Check for NitroPack Optimizations in PageSpeed Insights (PSI)

1. Open PageSpeed Insights > Enter your URL > Click Analyze.

2. Scroll down to the Opportunities and Diagnostic sections.

Both sections display critical and non-critical issues that can potentially be fixed using NitroPack.

In the example below, we can see an Opportunity to Reduce Unused CSS.

We can confirm that NitroPack’s optimization was served in PSI because we can see NitroPack’s CDN (nitrocdn.com)

Check for NitroPack Optimizations in GTMetrix

1. Open GTMetrix > Enter your URL to analyze >Test your site.

2. Click to expand the Waterfall section under the result and check the Domain column.

You can use this column to see where the resource was loaded from (i.e., self-hosted on your server or via third-party servers).

You should be able to see NitroPack’s CDN under Domains (nitrocdn.com), as shown in the example below:

If the results in both tools are coming from somewhere other than our server, please make sure to check if NitroPack is serving Optimized Pages to Visitors.
