Cache Warmup (WordPress)
Updated over a week ago

What is Cache Warmup?

Cache Warmup is a NitroPack service that helps keep your site optimized at all times. It schedules new optimizations for pages after they get purged or invalidated. It also runs an initial warmup of all pages linked on your homepage when you enable the feature.

The purge or invalidate can happen manually (after you manually purge/invalidate cached pages), or automatically. In all cases, Cache Warmup schedules new optimizations for the cleaned pages.

It works remotely by simulating user visits for each scheduled page. It simulates both desktop and mobile visits and if there are variation cookies with predefined values it also simulates all possible requests with these cookies and values.
